বিভিন্ন নথি এবং তথ্যপ্রমাণ দেখিয়ে নিজেদের নির্দোষের প্রমাণ করার চেষ্টা করে চলেছে সংস্থা। এর আগে অ্যাস্ট্রেজেনেকা দাবি করেছিল, তাদের ভ্যাকসিনের কারণে এমন ঘটনা ঘটেছে বলে তারা বিশ্বাস করে না। শেষ পর্যন্ত আর সাইড এফেক্টের কথা চেপে রাখতে পারল না অ্যাস্ট্রাজেনেকা সংস্থাটি। সম্প্রতি ইউকে হাইকোর্টে অ্যাস্ট্রেজেনেকা জানিয়েছে, খুব বিরল হলেও তাদের ভ্যাকসিন থেকে থ্রম্বোসিস উইথ থ্রম্বোসাইটোপেনিয়া সিনড্রোমে (TTS) বা টিটিএস হতে পারে। সাধারণত বিরল এই সিনড্রম হলে ব্লাড ক্লট হয়, প্লেটলেট কাউন্টও কমে যায়। মামলা চলাকালীন আদালত জানিয়ে দেয়, সংস্থার বিরুদ্ধে ওঠা অভিযোগ যদি সত্যি হয় তা হলে জরিমানা দিতে হবে। সেটাই সত্যি হল শেষ পর্যন্ত। টিকা সম্পর্কিত এই ভয়ংকর তথ্য প্রকাশ্যে আসতে শিউরে উঠছেন টীকাগ্রহীতারা ।
