‘ঘরে বসে অনলাইনে প্রতিদিন আয় করতে পারবেন ২ থেকে ৩ হাজার টাকা’- মোবাইল ফোনে মেসেজ দিয়ে, কল করে এভাবেই প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে বিপুল পরিমাণে টাকা হাতিয়ে নিচ্ছে একটি চক্র। পুলিশের সাইবার অ্যান্ড স্পেশাল ক্রাইম বিভাগ বলছে- এই চক্রের সঙ্গে অনেক বিদেশি নাগরিকও জড়িত। তারা বলছেন, আপনার ফোনে হঠাৎ মেসেজ আসলো-‘আপনি ঘরে বসেই অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে প্রতিদিন ইনকাম করতে পারবেন ২ থেকে ৩ হাজার টাকা। রাজি থাকলে নিচের লিংকে যোগাযোগ করুন।’ অথবা আপনার ফোনে মেসেজ আসলো- ‘আপনি চাকরির বাছাই পর্বে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন। বিস্তারিত জানতে নিচের লিংকে প্রবেশ করুন।’ কিন্তু বাস্তবে এমন কোনো চাকরির পরীক্ষাই আপনি দেননি। এমনকি আবেদনও করেননি। এরপরও আপনি সাড়া না দিলে, সরাসরি ফোনে কল দিয়ে নারী কণ্ঠে আপনাকে জানানো হবে-আপনার চাকরি পাওয়ার কথা। ঘরে বসেই বিপুল পরিমাণে টাকা আয়ের প্রলোভন দেয়া হবে আপনাকে। কাজ না জানলেও সমস্যা নেই। কাজ শিখিয়ে নেবে তারা।
আপনি রাজি হলে কয়েকটা লিংক পাঠানো হবে আপনাকে। লিংকগুলোতে প্রবেশ করে কয়েকটি লাইক করলেই আপনাকে ছোট ছোট অঙ্কের টাকাও পরিশোধ করা হবে। নামে মাত্র কাজ করেই টাকা পেয়ে তাদের ফাঁদে পড়ে যাবেন আপনি। আর এভাবেই ধাপে ধাপে আপনার বিশ্বাস জিতে হাতিয়ে নেবে সর্বস্ব। এমনই এক ভুক্তভোগী মো. শাহজালাল। তার মোবাইল ফোনেও আসে ঘরে বসে টাকা আয়ের মেসেজ।
শাহজালাল বলেন, প্রথমে আমি মেসেজটি ডিলিট করে দেই। এরপর আবার মেসেজ আসে। সেটাও ডিলিট করে দিলে হোয়াটসঅ্যাপে একই মেসেজ আছে। এরপর ফোনে কল দিয়ে এক নারী নিজেকে একটা কোম্পানির কর্মকর্তা পরিচয় দিয়ে বলেন, আপনি একটি চাকরির বাছাই পর্বে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন। শর্ট লিস্টে আছেন। এখন আপনি চাইলেই ঘরে বসে টাকা আয় করতে পারবেন। তখন আমি তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করি, আমার কি কি করা লাগবে। তখন তিনি বলেন, তেমন কিছুই না। যা যা দরকার আমরা শিখিয়ে নেবো। এরপর আমার হোয়াটসঅ্যাপে কিছু লিংক পাঠিয়ে তাতে প্রবেশ করতে বলেন। লিংকগুলোতে প্রবেশ করে লাইক দিয়ে তাকে স্কিন শট পাঠাতে হবে। তার কথা মতো আমি লিংকগুলোতে প্রবেশ করে লাইক দিয়ে সেগুলোর স্কিন শট নিয়ে তার হোয়াটসঅ্যাপে পাঠিয়ে দেই। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ২১২ টাকা আমার বিকাশ অ্যাকাউন্টে চলে আসে। তখন আমি তাদের ফেসবুক পেজ ও ওয়েব সাইটের ঠিকানা জানতে চাই। তখন আমাকে একটি ওয়েব সাইটের ঠিকানা দিয়ে বলা হয়, আপনি প্রতিদিন এমন সহজ ৫টি কাজ করেই ২৫শ’ টাকার উপরে আয় করতে পারবেন। লিংকে লাইক দিয়েই যদি টাকা পাওয়া যায় খারাপ কী, তাই আমি রাজি হয়ে যাই। এরপর আবার ৫টি কাজ দেয়া হয়। তাদের ওয়েব সাইটে আমার নামে অ্যাকাইন্ট খুলে দেয়া হয়।
আমি ওই ৫টি কাজ করার পর অ্যাকাউন্টে সাড়ে ৪ হাজার টাকা জমাও হয়। তাই ধীরে ধীরে আকৃষ্ট হতে থাকি। একে একে আমি ৬ষ্ঠ স্টেজে যাওয়ার পর ৩টি অপশনে আমাকে ইনভেস্ট করতে বলা হয়। এক হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করলে কমিশনসহ ১২শ’ টাকা, ৩ হাজার টাকায় ৩৬শ’ টাকা, আর ৫ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করলে আমি পাবো ৬ হাজার টাকা। আমি সব থেকে কম ১ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করি। ১২শ’ টাকাও পাই। এর পর ইনভেস্ট বাড়তে থাকে। এর পরের ধাপে ৪টি অপশনে ৩ হাজার, ৫ হাজার, ৭ হাজার ও ১০ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করতে বলা হয়। একইসঙ্গে কোম্পানির গ্রোথ বৃদ্ধির জন্য ছোট ছোট কাজ দেয়া হয় আমাকে। আগের ইনভেস্ট থেকে টাকা পাওয়ায় তেমন একটা সন্দেহ হয় না। তাই আমি ইনভেস্ট করে দেই। এভাবে স্টেজ ২৩-এ গিয়ে ৭ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করে আমি ৮ হাজার ৪শ’ টাকা কমিশনসহ ফেরত পাই।
এভাবে অনলাইনে তেমন কোনো কাজ না করেই ঘরে বসে কয়েকদিন টাকা আয় করে মোহে পড়ে যাই আমি। এভাবে ২৪তম স্টেজে গিয়ে একটি ওয়েব সাইটে অনেকে একসঙ্গে একটি টেলিগ্রাম গ্রুপে সকলে মিলে কাজ করতে হয়। সেখানে ইনভেস্ট করতে হয় ১৫ হাজার টাকা। এত টাকা ইনভেস্ট করতে হবে বলে প্রথমে আমার একটু খটকা লাগে। তখন আমি গ্রুপের অন্যান্য মেম্বরদের সঙ্গে পার্সোনালি ইনবক্সে যোগাযোগ করি। তারা আমাকে বলেন, তারা সকলেই অনেক আগে থেকে এই গ্রুপে কাজ করেন। কেউ কেউ এখানে কাজ করে গাড়ি পর্যন্ত কিনে ফেলেছেন। কেউ ১০-১২ লাখ টাকা কামিয়েছেন। এসব কথা শুনে আমি আর লোভ সামলাতে পারিনি। আমি ১৫ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করে দেই। ওই ওয়েবসাইটে আমার প্রোফাইলে আমি দেখতে পাই মোট ৩৫ হাজার টাকা জমা হয়েছে। বোনাস হিসাবেও কয়েন জমা হয়েছে। সেগুলো সেল করার অপশনও রয়েছে। আমাকে এমনভাবে সবকিছু উপস্থাপন করা হয়, আমি টাকা তোলার কথা চিন্তাও করতে পারিনি। ঘোরের মধ্যে শুধু ইনভেস্ট করে যাচ্ছি।
এভাবে ৫০ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করে ফেলি। তখন আমার ওয়ালেট থেকে ওই ইনভেস্ট করা টাকা ও এর বোনাস উত্তোলন করতে গেলে দেখি অ্যাকাউন্ট লক করা। তখন আমি রিপ্রেজেন্টিটিভের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করি। তিনি বলেন, এই টাকা তুলতে গেলে এখন ৭৮ হাজার টাকা আমাকে জমা করতে হবে। ৭৮ হাজার টাকা জমা করলে আমি মুনাফাসহ সকল টাকা একবারে বিকাশের মাধ্যমে উত্তোলন করতে পারবো। তখন আমার সন্দেহ হলে আমি কিছুটা ডিলে করতে থাকি। কিন্তু ওই সাজানো গ্রুপের অন্যান্য মেম্বররা আমাকে সকলে মিলে চাপ দিতে থাকে। বলে, আমরা সকলেই টাকা জমা দিয়ে দিয়েছি। আমার টাকা না জমা করার জন্য তাদের সকলের টাকা আটকে রয়েছে। পুরো নেশার ঘোরে রাখা হয় আমাকে। তখন আমি ভাবি- আমার মতো সকলকেই তো টাকা দিতে হচ্ছে। লস হলে সকলেরই হবে। তাই আমি ওই টাকা ইনভেস্ট করে দেই। এরপর ওই গ্রুপে আমাদের সঙ্গে কথিত দুবাই থেকে ওই কোম্পানির হেড যুক্ত হন। তিনি সকলকে বলেন, এইবারই আপনাদের শেষ ইনভেস্ট।
এই ধাপ অতিক্রম করলে আপনি আপনার আসলসহ অনেক টাকা লাভ পাবেন। এই ধাপে আপনাকে ইনভেস্ট করতে হবে ১ লাখ ৬৬ হাজার টাকা। এতগুলো ধাপেও যখন আমি টাকা হাতে পাইনি। তখন আমি নতুন করে আর টাকা ইনভেস্ট করতে রাজি হইনি। তখন আমাকে আবারো ওই কথিত বস মেসেজ পাঠিয়ে বলেন, ‘আমি আমার বন্ধুকে বিপদে ফেলতে চাই না। তুমি ইচ্ছা করলেই শেষ ধাপের টাকা ইনভেস্ট করে সকল লাভ উঠিয়ে নিতে পারো।’ আমি তখন তাকে জানাই, আমি একটু ভেবে আপনাকে জানবো। এরপরই আমাকে ওই গ্রুপ থেকে বাদ দিয়ে দেয়া হয়। প্রায় এক লাখ ৩০ হাজার টাকা ইনভেস্ট করে আমাকে একটি টাকাও দেয়া হয় না। তখন আমি প্রথমে যোগাযোগ করা ওই হোয়াটস অ্যাপ প্রোফাইলে গিয়ে ফোন নম্বর বের করার চেষ্টা করি। কিন্তু গুগল ভয়েজ নম্বর বা টেক্স নাউ দিয়ে ভেরিফাই করার জন্য তার ফোন নম্বর পাওয়া যায়নি।
এরপর তাদের ফেসবুক পেজে দেয়া নম্বরে যোগাযোগ করি। সেটাও বন্ধ। পেজে দেয়া ঠিকানা তাও সঠিক নয়। ভুক্তভোগী মো. শাহজালাল বলেন, আমি ঘুণাক্ষরেও বুঝতে পারিনি আমার সঙ্গে এভাবে প্রতারণা করা হবে। আমি এসব ভাবারও সময় পাইনি। যেভাবে প্রথমে কয়েক ধাপে টাকা পেয়েছি, তাতে মনেই হয়নি এটি একটি স্ক্যাম। প্রতিটি ধাপেই মনে হয়েছে আমি সঠিক পথে রয়েছি। অনলাইনে টাকা ইনকামের একটি পথ। তাই ধাপে ধাপে আমি ইনভেস্ট করতে থাকি। আর গ্রুপে যাদের সঙ্গে আমি যোগাযোগ করেছিলাম তারও আমাকে এ বিষয়ে সাহস যোগায়। কিন্তু পরে গিয়ে টের পাই এগুলো সবই সাজানো। গ্রুপের মেম্বারও ওই প্রতারণা চক্রের সদস্য। তাই এভাবে আমার মতো কেউ যেন এই ফাঁদে পড়ে সর্বস্ব না হারায় সেজন্য সকলকে এসব অনলাইন প্রতারণা থেকে দূরে থাকতে অনুরোধ করেন তিনি। এ বিষয়ে ঢাকা মহানগর গোয়েন্দা সাইবার অ্যান্ড স্পেশাল ক্রাইম ডিভিশন দক্ষিণের উপ-কমিশনার মো. সাইফুর রহমান আজাদ বলেন, আমরা এই বিষয়টি নিয়ে নিয়মিত কাজ করে যাচ্ছি। আমরা বিদেশিসহ এমন প্রতারণা চক্রের অনেক সদস্যকে গ্রেপ্তার করে আইনের আওতায় এনেছি।
তাদের মধ্যে অনেক বিদেশি সদস্যও রয়েছে। তিনি বলেন, আমরা প্রান্তিক পর্যায়ে কাজ করতে গিয়ে দেখেছি, এদের বেশির ভাগই বিদেশি সদস্য দারা নিয়ন্ত্রিত। দেশের কয়েকজন দালালের মাধ্যমে তারা এই কাজগুলো পরিচালনা করে থাকেন। তাই দেশে থাকা হাতেগোনা কয়েকজন চুনোপুঁটি গ্রেপ্তার হলেও এই চক্রের মূল হোতা ধরাছোঁয়ার বাইরেই থেকে যায়। পুলিশের এই কর্মকর্তা বলেন, চায়না থেকে আমাদের দেশে আসতে তেমন একটা বিধিনিষেধ নেই। অন এরাইভ্যাল ভিসার মাধ্যমে তারা এদেশে আসতে পারেন। এরই সুযোগে সে দেশের অনেক অসাধু চক্রের সদস্যরা এদেশে এসে একটি চক্র তৈরি করে। যাদের মাধ্যমে সার্ভার তৈরি করে ভুয়া রেজিস্ট্রেশনের মাধ্যমে এদেশের সিম কার্ড ব্যবহার করে বিভিন্ন প্রযুক্তির মাধ্যমে মানুষকে প্রলোভনের এসএমএস পাঠায়। অনেকের ফোনে কল দেয়। আর যারা কাজ না করে টাকা আয় করতে চান তারাই এই প্রতারণার ফাঁদে পড়েন। তাই মানুষকে এইসব প্রতারণার ফাঁদে পা না দিয়ে সচেতন হওয়ার পরামর্শ দেন তিনি। একইসঙ্গে অনলাইনে এত সহজে টাকা আয় করা সম্ভব নয় বলেও উল্লেখ করেন পুলিশের সাইবার অ্যান্ড স্পেশাল ক্রাইমের এই কর্মকর্তা।
