চুয়াডাঙ্গা জেলার ডিঙ্গেদাহে স্ত্রীকে ভিডিও কলে রেখে আরিফুল (৩২) নামে এক আনসার সদস্য গলায় দড়ি দিয়ে আত্মহত্যা করেছেন। রোববার রাত ১২টার দিকে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। তিনি দিনাজপুরের জয়দেবপুর গ্রামের নুরুজ্জামানের ছেলে। তিনি ডিঙ্গেদাহ আনসার ব্যাটালিয়নের সিপাহী হিসেবে কর্মরত ছিলেন। চুয়াডাঙ্গা আনসার বাহিনীর কমান্ড্যান্ট সঞ্জয় চৌধুরি এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করে বলেন, আরিফুল পরিবার নিয়ে ব্যাটালিয়নের পাশেই ভাড়া বাড়িতে থাকতেন। গত ২রা মে ছুটিতে সপরিবারে বাড়িতে যান। ছুটি শেষে রোববার একাই ভাড়া বাসায় ফেরেন তিনি। আমরা প্রাথমিকভাবে জেনেছি, মনোমালিন্যের জেরে স্ত্রীকে ভিডিও কলে রেখে তিনি আত্মহত্যা করেন। থানার ওসি শেখ সেকেন্দার আলী বলেন, পারিবারিক কলহের জেরে এক আনসার সদস্য আত্মহত্যা করেছেন। মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য সদর হাসপাতাল মর্গে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে।
